🇰🇷 The Korean Skincare Revolution: What I Use & Why It’s Changed My Skin

From skin boosters to placenta extracts, Korean innovation in skincare goes far beyond glass skin. Here’s what I’m actually using, what works, and why I’m obsessed.

🌸 Why Korean Skincare?

Korea has been decades ahead in skincare tech — blending science, peptides, botanicals, and bio-stimulators into powerful (yet elegant) solutions. Their philosophy is less about hiding flaws and more about regenerating the skin from within. That’s why I use Korean skincare products not just topically, but also for microneedling, mesotherapy, and healing recovery.

This is a full look at what I use regularly, and why these products are so transformative for skin over 50.

đź’‰ Injectable or Microneedle-Friendly Boosters

These are products I use with micro-injections or dermal stamping, depending on the formula and depth needed.

✦ Miracle Touch Up

  • Why I Use It: It’s a true “liquid facelift” with PCL (polycaprolactone), HA, and exosomes.
  • Results: Long-term collagen stimulation and subtle tightening.
  • Best Use: Micro-injection sessions, post-numbing.

✦ Gouri & Miracle L

  • Category: Collagen Bio-Stimulators
  • Key Ingredient: PCL in liquid form
  • What’s Special: Creates a 3D collagen scaffold in the skin, no filler required.
  • Where I See Results: Jawline, cheeks, and under the chin.

✦ Curenex

  • A mix of: PDRN, Glutathione, Peptides, HA
  • Why I Love It: It’s a recovery all-star — I use it after threads, fibro-blasting, or peel days.
  • Delivery: I microneedle or nano-stamp it in.

✦ Laennec (Placenta Extract)

  • Origin: Japan, but used widely in Korean beauty protocols
  • How I Use It: Dermal stamping and also subcutaneous injections in the stomach
  • Benefits: Skin regeneration, hormonal balance, energy, and repair
  • Bonus: Traditionally used for menopause support, liver function, and joint pain

✦ Hyaron

  • Form: Non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid
  • Feel: Very hydrating, no filler volume
  • Use Case: I stamp or rub this in for instant glow + hydration

MESOHEAL®+ is an advanced biorevitalisation solution formulated with high molecular weight, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) designed for effective skin rejuvenation and hydration. It delivers rapid, noticeable results, revitalising tired, dehydrated skin while promoting enhanced skin regeneration, deep hydration, and improved elasticity and viscoelasticity. korupharma.com+1medicalaestheticsupply.store+1

🧬 Korean Botox Alternatives

✦ MeTox & WonderTox

  • What Are They: Botulinum toxin type A, like Botox — but made in Korea
  • Why I Tried Them: More affordable, widely used in clinics across Asia
  • Effects: Smoothing fine lines, especially in crow’s feet and forehead

Always use with caution and deep research. I discuss these only in private communities and my upcoming Rumble videos.

🧪 Topical Boosters I Rotate In

✦ GHK-Cu (Copper Peptides)

  • Korean-made ampoules are high-quality and rich in blue-tinted peptides
  • I mix this into The Ordinary’s HA serum to make my healing serum after fibroblasting or microneedling
  • Results: Faster repair, plumper skin, less redness

🔥 Korean Peels That Changed My Skin

✦ BienPeel TCA 35% (No-Peel Peel)

  • Why it’s different: No visible flaking or downtime
  • Ingredients: TCA, lactobionic acid, GABA, Vitamin C, amino acids
  • How I use it: Every 2–4 weeks as part of my rejuvenation routine
  • Bonus: Doesn’t disturb my daily life, no hiding at home

🧼 My Skincare Style: Gentle But Potent

The thing about Korean products is: they’re layered, not aggressive. I’ve moved away from harsh TCA peels or over-exfoliating acids. Instead, I follow this rhythm:

  • Weekly:
  • Gua Sha with Glycerin & Vitamin C for glide & penetration. 3 times per week.
  • Redlight therapy 3 – 4 times per week.
  • Monthly: BienPeel or collagen stimulator session
  • Recovery: Always a copper peptide serum, SPF, and hydration

Final Thoughts

Korean skincare isn’t just pretty packaging and dewy serums. It’s a regenerative system that empowers women to age beautifully, with precision, intention, and confidence. Whether it’s peptides, placenta, or PCL, these tools have changed how I treat my own skin — and how I feel in it.
